English: Wellingtonia Avenue, Crowthorne 100 Wellingtonia trees ("Sequoiadendron giganteum") were planted in 1863 in memory of the Duke Of Wellington, whose estate, Stratfield Saye is a few miles away. The road is the B3348 that leads into Dukes Ride and thence to Crowthorne about a mile and a half away.
The area behind this viewpoint is the National Trust property, The Ridges.
