DescriptionWellingborough Yard and Depot - geograph.org.uk - 1521258.jpg
English: Wellingborough Yard and Depot Seen from the Finedon Road bridge, a northbound express passes the yards north of Wellingborough. On the left, The diesel depot can be seen along with the water tower and the freight depot. The brick building is the original Midland Railway goods depot. A train of white roadstone wagons stands in the sidings.
Since this photo was taken, the sidings on the right hand side of the mainline have been lifted entirely. Those on the left have also been lifted and the area is completely overgrown. The empty shell of diesel depot and the water tower still stand. The freight sheds and goods depot remain in good condition.
