| Description |
English: A pump and sink fed from a well in the kitchen of an East Dundry property. Photo taken in 1959.
The well access cover and pump handle are on the reverse side of the sink and pump mounting board. Two taps can be seen, the original large brass cold water tap from the well with a rising extension pipe to a holding tank in the roof. To the left, a later hot water tap fed from the holding tank via a wood fired cooking and water heating stove. |
