Description
English: SEM visualization of epicuticular wax morphologies. Wax tubules from Thalictrum flavum glacum dominated with nonacosan-10-ol in (a), tubuules of Eucalyptus gunii composed of ß-diketones in (b), tubules of Triticum aestivum with the dominating compound being primary alcohol octacosan-1-ol in (c), and rodlets with dendritic branching composed of several complex compounds of a Brassica oleracea in (d).
