Description
English: A matlab-computed sinusoidal traveling plane wave, entering a region of lower wave velocity at an angle, illustrating the decrease in wavelength and change of direction (refraction) that results.
Deutsch: Darstellung einer Sinuswelle, die in ein Medium mit höherem Brechungsindex (d.h. niedriger Ausbreitungsgeschwindigkeit) eintritt. Nach dem Eintritt hat sich die Ausbreitungsrichtung verändert (Brechung) sowie die Wellenlänge verringert. Computergeneriert mit Matlab.
