The Washington Square mall, in Tigard, Oregon (in the west-side suburbs of Portland). This is the northwest portion of the mall, viewed from the parking lot to the northwest, looking southeast. The portion of the Macy's store visible here dates from the opening of the mall in 1973, and was a Meier & Frank Company store until 2006 (when Macy's rebranded it). The Macy's, ex-M&F store extends about 100 feet more to the left, out-of-frame, and that portion was an addition Meier & Frank built in the 1990s. The structures in the center and righthand part of this photo were added to the mall in 2005.
