Description
English: Employees of the National Park Service (NPS) install the 17th Street closure structure designed to protect the White House and downtown from flooding in Washington, D.C, Oct. 14, 2016. This annual exercise installs a levee that is part of the Potomac Park Levee System which ensures continuity of operations and verifies the structure can be installed efficiently in case of high waters.
