DescriptionWar Memorial - geograph.org.uk - 609603.jpg
English: War Memorial From the plinth: "This memorial pays tribute to all who served in the 51st Highland Division in two world wars. It symbolizes the liberation of our European allies from occupation and repression in 1945 and commemorates the fifty years of peace that have followed."
The memorial is at the southern edge of the North Inch, close to Perth Bridge. The wind this morning was blowing from the same direction as shown in the statue, and the poppy wreaths were in danger of being carried away.
