Funded by Andrew Carnegie and opened in 1909, this library has been extended and refurbished - once following an arson attack in 1982 in which they lost lots of local records.
It was lovely inside, lots of carved wood and high ceilings, and lots of different rooms.
It was extremely busy - good to see on a Saturday afternoon when the market outside was packed too.
