Summary

Description
English: Registration card of Walter Vielhauer as a prisoner at Dachau Nazi Concentration Camp.

Also included: "mugshot" dated 19.Jul.1944, the day of his arrival at Buchenwald. This means this card was sent with him to the latter camp (hence the handwritten note added on top right corner: “Falsche nummer” = “Wrong number”).
Reason (“Grund”) for arrest: “Staatsfeind” (i.e., “Enemy of the State”).
Inverted red triangle identifies Vielhauer as a political prisoner.
“2x” (over the triangle and also on left column) means was imprisoned for a second time.
Stamp on central column identifies date of transfer to Buchenwald (18.Jul).

Stamps on the bottom of back page mean he was liberated by the U. S. Army and released after a screening questionnaire by the Allied Military Government.
