Wallowa Lake is one of Oregon's most beautiful and popular lakes. Approximately four miles long and a mile wide, it is fed by the Wallowa River. The lake contains populations of kokanee and mackinaw. Wallowa Lake State Park is located on the south end of the lake and has amenities including tent and RV camping, picnic areas, swimming area, a boat ramp and marina. Wallowa Lake also hosts a popular rainbow trout fishery, and is stocked annually from May through August.
