Description
English: Drawing from Theophilus Waldmeier (1832-1915): encounter in Beirut in 1876, The Mission consults a Chamber-barrister respecting the title & conveyance of the land. Waldmeier was chief of the Syrian Mission of the Quakers, he represents himself with beard and hat.
Français : Dessin de Theophil Waldmeier (1832-1915) : rencontre à Beyrouth en 1876, entre la direction de la Mission et un juriste. Waldmeier était chef de la Mission syrienne des quakers, il se représente avec son chapeau et sa barbe.
