English: Sign on the Withlacoochee State Trail marking the site of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad's Great Train Wreck of 1956, which took place in Pineola, Florida, southeast of Floral City, Florida, and the Citrus-Hernando County Line on October 18, 1956. Unfortunatley, my crappy camera didn't get a good shot of the details about the accident, so more resarch about it is necessary. What I can tell you is that there's a sheltered bench next to it. |
