| Description |
English: In September 2018 a two-third majority of the European Parliament - led by Green MEP Judith Sargentini - adopted a historic resolution to defend democracy in Hungary.
While democracy and rule of law deteriorated in Hungary due to the ruling Fidesz Party, other EU member states and the European Commission were reluctant to act. Therefore, the European Parliament decided to start their own investigation, lead by Sargentini. In this mini documentary we look back at investigation and the final vote. |
