Summary

Description
English: I love capturing timelapses and always have my sight on the clouds, as those often have an essential role to play in what can be considered a 'great timelapse'.

On that particular summer evening, about 4pm'ish, I noticed that there weren't a lot of low clouds but for sure the high clouds looked very interesting. I logged in to windy.com to see if there was a descent chance of having one of those intense fiery red/orange/purple clouds for that day. The odds looked promising.

One can never fully predict this but with experience we can be about 60-70% sure that we will have one of those organismic skies in sight.

As such I did the 20 minutes climb on top of Candos Hill(in Quatres Bornes) where I can get a view on the city as well as on some distant mountains. I set up my camera and wide angle lense at about 17:15 and started shooting at an interval of 8 seconds between each shots.

And I got lucky on that day as the clouds took a strange form to say the least, that of an active volcano, sort of. It reminded me of those volcanos we used to draw when we were 3 years old.

This picture is just after the sun had set on the horizon, so during civilian twilight. A lot of people also noticed the sky on that day and posted the same 'volcano' from different angles on facebook.
