Description
Français : Visite de l’empereur Maximilien et de l’impératrice Charlotte du Mexique au pape Pie IX, Palais Marescotti (Vatican), le 19 avril 1864. — Maximilien et Charlotte ont une conversation avec le pape et à la fin de celle-ci, ils reçoivent sa bénédiction. Après cette visite, ils s’embarqueront pour le Mexique. Charlotte porte une robe noire et une mantille d’étiquette sur la tête, tandis que Maximilien est en uniforme.
