Reconstruction into the current neoclassical style was completed in 1783 (designed by Laurynas Gucevičius). Sculptures of St. Stanislaus, St. Helena and St. Casimir were added later. Sculptures were torn down under Soviet occupation, when the Cathedral was used as a motor vehicle repair facility. Sculptures were restored in 1997.
