DescriptionView westwards towards the Castell Crwn earthworks - geograph.org.uk - 1259230.jpg
English: View westwards towards the Castell Crwn earthworks Castell Crwn (=round castle) is possibly a medieval earthworks. It is unlikely to be, as was suggested by 18th and 19thC antiquarians, the remains of a Viking or Danish fort. The church and rectory at Llanfairynghornwy can be seen in the middle ground with Castell Farm on the slopes of Mynydd y Garn forming the background.
