Summary

Description
English: Ponte Nomentano is a bridge near Rome that was painted by Joseph Wright of Derby after he arrived in Italy in 1773. The painting was the subject of a BBC programme that was broadcast on 4 October 2017 on BBC4. This is a screenshot taken from that programme - hence the bbc watermark. The shot was taken after 52 minutes into the programme. Guess at 1775 for the painting date. The painting is in Derby Museum
