Description
English: This photograph is by William Strudwick and was taken in 1865. It shows the area between the then newly built Palace of Westminster and the Lambeth Suspension Bridge. The area was cleared of the Industrial units and wharves during the first decade of the 20th century to make way for Victoria Tower Gardens
