English: Victorian Railways 5'3" gauge 'V' Class 4w diesel hydraulic shunter No.V56 at the Victoria Railway Museum, North Williamstown, 2 April 2016. V56 was built by VR Newport in 1959 as a carriage wash shunter for emu's at Jolimont. It has a 40 hp Fordson Major tractor engine. It was the smallest VR diesel loco.
