English: State Electricity Commission of Victoria 90 cm gauge gauge 1,100 V dc overhead Yallourne Brown Coal Railway 'Henschel 46 ton' 461 hp Bo-Bo shunter No.37, built by Kelly & Lewis in 1942, withdrawn in 1985, at the Victoria Railway Museum, North Williamstown, 2 April 2016. This loco originally had no less than 6 pantographs, later reduced to two! Henschel (with Siemens electricla equipment) built 3 of these '46 ton' locos in for hauling coal trains in the huge Latrobe Valley brown coal open-cast mining operation to the new Yallourne Power Station built especially to take advantage of the vast coal reserves. 17 more were built by Kelly & Lewis in 1929-52. The 46 tonners were withdrawn in 1970-85.
