Summary

Description

Schematic diagram of Vibrio, representing of two pathogenic species.

  • (left) V. cholerae. Typical form of Vibrio; comma-like bacteria with thick monotrichous flagellum.
  • (right) V. parahaemolyticus. Atypical form; straight bacteria with two kind of flagella, thick monotrichous one and thin peritrichous ones.
