English: Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem being performed outdoors at the Polo Grounds, New York City. The quartet is (from left to right) Giovanni Zenatello, Louise Homer (under the assumed name of 'Lucile Lawrence'),[1] Maria Gay, and Léon Rothier. The conductor is Louis Koemmenich.
