DescriptionVerëvkina cave - profile with surface.svg
English: The cave, also spelled Veryovkina, 2212 m deep and 17500 m long in 2022, from 2017 the deepest cave in the world, is situated in the Arabika mountain ridge of the Western Caucasus, in Abkhazia, a country on the eastern coast of the Black sea and with a long common history to Georgia. The map is based on the profile by Perovskij speleo club (Moscow, pres. Aleksej Baraškov) of February 2020; surface contours and other data were obtained with the help of Perovo speleo team (also from Moscow, pres. Pavel Demidov). It was compiled February to July 2020 by Primož Jakopin - Klok, of DZRJL, Ljubljana Cave Exploration Society from Slovenia, and slightly adapted for international use in April 2023.
