English: Gold figure shaped like a deer with features of other animals with a corn husk in its mouth exhibited at the Museo de Oro Precolombino del Banco Central de Costa Rica, San José. The figure shows a combination of several animal traits: it has the horns of a deer, pointed ears like those of felines, prominent eyes, the body of an alligator, and claws shaped like fins, much like those of a sea creature. It has another animal on its back. South Pacific Region (1000-1150 AD)
