Description
English: This is the inside of a "wall wart" style variable power supply. The large component with yellow parts is a transformer with several 'tappings'. By connecting to different tappings, different voltages can be produced. Full wave rectification is provided by four silicon diodes, the black-and-grey components above the rightmost switch, arranged as a rectifier. Smoothing is provided by the large black capacitor. The resistor seen on the left regulates voltage to the status LED.
