Description
English: Map detailing the changes of boundaries between France and Switzerland following the "Traité des Dappes" in 1862. The valley of the Dappes was a claimed territory between Switzerland and France since 1648 and it's conquest by the canton of Berne. The treaty for wich is extracted this map ended the dispute.
Français : Carte détaillant le changement de frontière entre la France et la Suisse suite au Traité des Dappes de 1862. La vallée des Dappes était un territoire disputé entre la Suisse et la France depuis 1648 et sa prise de possession par le canton de Berne. Le traité dont est extrait ce plan a mis fin au litige.
