Description
Deutsch: Wallfahrtsbild (Holzschnitt), um 1480, in Rufach im Elsass entstanden, in der National Gallery of Art in Washington. Valentin steht mit segnender Gebärde vor zwei Jugendlichen, die nach Abklingen ihrer Anfälle erschöpft am Boden liegen; dahinter die Eltern mit Dankesgaben; dass die Heilung dauerhaft ist, zeigen Schwein und Katze, in die die Krankheitsdämonen nach ihrer Austreibung aus dem Menschen hineinzufahren pflegen.
Polski: Walenty z Recji Pielgrzymkowy obrazek (drzeworyt) z 1480, z Rouffach w Alzacji, w National Gallery of Art w Waszyngtonie.
