Summary

Description
English: Modern speculative replica of the Uunartoq Disc with gnomonic lines inscribed. The downward concave line at the bottom is for the summer solstice; the straight middle line is for the vernal and autumnal equinoxes; the top convex line is for the winter solstice. The original Uunartoq disc artifact does not feature a winter solstice gnomonic line, which would likely have been impractical at the high latitude where the disc was discovered.
