Summary

Description
English: Unidentified men attacked the Uthayan newspaper office in Kilinochchi leaving behind a manager seriously injured and office equipment and vehicles damaged in the early morning hours of 3rd April, 2013. At least seven persons armed with club including wickets attacked the staff.[1]It is alleged the attackers are a squad operated by the Sri Lankan military intelligence since the office, is situated on Karadippoakku Junction on A9 Road, heavily guarded by the Sri Lankan military.[2]
