Lim. Coordinates: 14°35'30"N 120°58'53"E[3] The Universidad de Manila (UdM) (formerly known as City College of Manila and also known as Gat Andrés Bonifacio University) is a public university in Manila, Philippines. It is one of the two city-funded universities of Manila. The main campus of Universidad De Manila, which houses the Administration Building of the Division of City Schools-Manila, is at the heart of the Mehan Garden adjacent to the Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila City Library and the Light Rail Transit Central Terminal. Universidad de Manila is located inside the ---Mehan Garden[4] Coordinates: 14°35'32"N 120°58'51"E[5] is an open space in Manila, Philippines. It was established in 1858 by the Spanish colonial authorities as a botanical garden, called the Jardín Botánico, outside the walled city. The Garden is the open space off Liwasang Bonifacio (across the Philippine Post Office Main Building), bounded by Taft Avenue, LRT Central Terminal, the Metropolitan Theater, and Manila City Hall. Inside the Garden are structures such as the Lawton Park n' Ride building and the Universidad de Manila.[6] Statue of Sebastian Vidal[7] by Enric Clarasó in the botanical garden. Until the 1960s, the Mehan Garden was a functioning park that was open to people until neglect slowly crept in and decay finally killed the place.
