John Latenser and Sons, a noted Omaha architectural firm with deep roots in the community designed the building and it was constructed by Kiewit Brothers construction company.
The property was renovated when it was sold to the Securities Life Insurance Company in 1938 to accommodate their special needs and to transform the storefront.
