English: This figure is a depiction of the laminar “unbounded” boundary layer along a 2-D flat plate showing the behavior of the velocity profile. This is representative of exterior flow along a wall. The location and behavior of the location of the maximum velocity as well as the location where the profile returns to the free stream value (delta m).
