Français : Enceinte QUV™ pour essais de vieillissement accéléré aux intempéries de matériaux. Une chambre d'essais simule les effets des intempéries : exposition aux UV plus humidité et chaleur (à T≈60 °C, par exemple). Appareil utilisé par exemple pour tester le jaunissement de revêtements (tels des peintures blanches). Il peut contenir 48 plaques échantillons de 150 × 75 mm.
English: QUV™ accelerated weathering tester. It exposes materials to alternating cycles of UV light and moisture at elevated temperatures (at T≈60 °C for example). QUV is used for example to test the yellowing of coatings (such as white paints). QUV tester simulates the effects of sunlight, and dew and rain with condensing humidity. Up to 48 specimens (150 × 75 mm) can be tested.
