Source (WP:NFCC#4) | Pacific Motor Boat Magazine, April 1943 |
Date of publication | April 1943 |
Use in article (WP:NFCC#7) | USS YP-400 |
Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | The image is being used as the primary means of visual identification of the subject in the article about the subject |
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1) |
I have been unable to locate any other images of this entity and it is unlikely that there are many out there given that this ship was one of many converted craft to serve as patrol vessels during World War II |
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | Low resolution snip of the image |
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2) |
The original phot was used by the publisher to show the role of converted fishing vessels in the Aleutian campaign during World War II. The image is a snip and of reduced quality and unlikely to have any commercial value. |
Other information | The magazine interestingly does not have any copyright notification although I thought it was best to assume that there is a copyright. The photo could be a US government image and would have been taken between May 1942 and April 1943. |
