Summary

Description In early 1962, the U.S. Navy conducted "Project High Jump" from Naval Air Stations Brunswick, Maine (USA), and Point Mugu, California (USA), during which several McDonnell F4H-1 Phantom IIs captured eight time-to-climb records. This collage shows three pilots, LCDR Del W. Nordberg, LCDR F. Taylor Brown, LCDR John W. Young, and the F4H-1 BuNo 148423.
