Summary

Description The U.S. Navy light cruiser USS Miami (CL-89) in a Pacific Ocean anchorage, soon after the end of the war with Japan, circa September-October 1945. Two Curtiss SC-1 Seahawks are on the catapults, a third is placed on the hangar. An old flush-deck destroyer converted to a high speed transport (APD) is anchored in the background.
