Summary

Description The U.S. Navy aircraft carriers USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and USS Saratoga (CV-60) underway, probably during the 1991 Gulf War in the Red Sea. John F. Kennedy, with assigned Carrier Air Wing 3 (CVW-3) was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea from 15 August 1990 to 28 March 1991. Saratoga, with assigned CVW-17, was deployed to the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea from 7 August 1990 to 28 March 1991.
