Summary

Description
English: USSR 1954-06-03 uprated registered stamped 40k envelope sent from Moscow to Zurich. Additionally franked with 40k (Mi. 1703) and 1r (Mi.1707). Over franked 70k, the rate for international registered letters was 1.10R. Envelope and stamps commemorating 300 years uniting Ukraine and Russia.
  • Catalogue: Mi. 1703 and 1707, CPA 1761 and 1762.
Русский: Художественный маркированный конверт СССР (1954) в честь 300-летия воссоединения Украины с Россией, на котором запечатлён памятник Т. Г. Шевченко в Харькове. Заказное письмо отправлено из Москвы в Цюрих и дополнительно франкировано двумя марками СССР, посвящёнными тому же событию, на одной из которых изображён тот же памятник.
