Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Hovey (DD-208) underway, but fully converted to a Destroyer/Minesweeper in 1943, note 3 smokestacks not 4 as part of her conversion process, and circled fore and aft guns clearly multi-purpose antiaircraft weapons, not her earlier 4 inch guns. Rear crane for minesweeping also shown circled.
