English: Aerial view of the John Hollis Bankhead Lock and Dam on the Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama, USA. The dam impounds the river and forms Bankhead Lake above the dam. Directly below the dam is Holt Lake, visible in this photograph, is Holt Lake, which is formed by the Holt Lock and Dam farther downriver. Bankhead Lock and Dam is the uppermost lock and dam on the Black Warrior River. View is downriver to the south.
