The current University of California, San Diego logo. The rules governing the appearance, presentation, and construction of this logo were set in the UCSD Graphic Identity Guidelines and Policies on April 2012. The constituents of the guidelines maintain strict rules covering how, where, when, and in what manner the logo is to be constructed and presented. The logo, instated in 2012, is part of the program that UCSD is using in order to create and maintain a visual identity in the wave of inconsistent icons and logotypes representing the university.
The logo cannot be reconstructed with any fonts or drawings. Only official versions may ever be used as the official logo.
