A view of a replica of the famous "Goddess of Democracy" statue which was erected on June 4, 1991 at the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver, BC, Canada. It was placed here by the UBC Alma Mater Society, UBC Chinese Student and Scholar Association & Vancouver Society in Vancouver, Canada, in support of Democratic Movement in memory of those who died in Beijing, China on June 4, 1989 due to the Tiananmen Square Incident.
