Description
English: One of the Bulfinch Gateposts (also known as the U.S. Capitol Gateposts) located at 15th Street and Constitution Avenue, NW in Washington, D.C. It was designed by Charles Bulfinch in 1825 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Washington Monument is visible in the background.
