English: This is a picture taken when the object on display was a fake, as the real on had been sold by the then director. I publish it anyhow as it's a good replica, and the golden seahorse is probably the most famous object in the treasure. It is very hard to decide which of the many fine objects from the same period really belong to the Karun Treasure. Only a few appear in the many articles about the return of the stolen treasure. Many of the silver and gold objects elsewhere in the museum collection will belong to it.
