Deutsch: U‘u-Kriegskeulen von den Marquesas-Inseln (Museum of Natural History, New York City). Die U‘u-Kriegskeulen waren persönlicher Besitz der Angehörigen einer exclusiven Kriegerkaste. Jede Waffe wurde für ihren Besitzer persönlich nach Maß gefertigt, sie reichte von der Achselhöhle bis zum Boden. Die geschnitzten Muster sind - trotz gleichförmigen Gesamtbildes - in den Details verschieden, sodass jedes Exemplar einzigartig ist.
