Collection History: During George Heye's 1938 field trip to British Columbia, he was accompanied at least part of the time by William A. Newcombe (1884-1960), son of Charles F. Newcombe (1851-1924, physician and collector), who had earlier supplied Heye with objects from the Northwest Coast; print donated to MAI by William A. Newcombe.
