Summary

[edit]
Media data and Non-free use rationale
Description An animated gif (~20 seconds) of the Twitch Plays Pokémon stream; the game Pokémon Red is shown to the left where the character is being controlled by the commands entered by thousands of players and shown in the scrolling to the right. The animation is used to show the rate at which commands were coming in, while demonstrating the anarchy effect it had on the character in this case, spinning them around but with no movement whatsoever.

textual coverage because

The effect of the anarchy and rate of entered commands is difficult to describe in text.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) The gif uses about 20 seconds of real-time footage - the Twitch stream had been running for 8 days at the point of this capture. The game footage used is only one small area of the original Pokémon Red game.
