English: Tweedmouth railway station (site), Northumberland Opened in 1847 by the Newcastle & Berwick Railway, later part of the North Eastern Railway, this station closed to passengers in 1964. The goods yard closed in 1984.
View north east towards the site of the forecourt. The site was partly a council yard when this image was taken, although the overhead power lines for the railway can be seen in the background. The gatepost in the foreground may be one of the few surviving artefacts of the old station.
